‘Generations: The Legacy’ will continue to be aired after an unsuccessful attempt at a court interdict this week by axed staff.

According to the Sowetan, the axed stars’ lawyer, Bulelani Mzamo stated that not all of his clients managed to sign the necessary documentation as they were “tied up in different commitments”

However, Mzamo added that the matter would be taken to the South Gauteng High Court.
“They know very well that the 16 actors are seeking reinstatement and they also know that commissioners are not capable of dealing with legal matters. We are now taking the matter from the CCMA to the High Court,” Mzamo to the paper.
Meanwhile, SABC Spokesperson Kaizer Kganyago told Drum magazine that this was news to him.
“Even if it is an application, there should be a sitting where all parties are present to argue on the urgency. As far as I know, we did not not receive anything,” says Kganyago.
