The Big Brother Mzansi Live show finale is nearly upon us on which one of the Housemates will reign victorious and find themselves a million Rand richer with a slip of an envelope; and Big Brother has packed more talent into one Live Show than you’ll be handle on a Sunday night, or ever!
Mafikizolo, the royalty of Afropop is made up of Theo Kgosinkwe and Nhlanhla Nciza, and this dynamite duo released their first album in six years last year, aptly named ‘Reunited’, signalling their return after a long break. According to Nciza “Mafikizolo is a comprehensive concept which showcases three elements: music, dance and fashion. I decide what we wear because I love everything about fashion. Theo on the other hand, has to arrange our line-up for shows. He tailor-makes what we will sing with the audience we intend to perform for in mind,”; Mzansi this outfit is going to be an all over sensory explosion.
Lucky number three on the Big Brother Mzansi stage is South African born and Mmabatho bred, Khuli Chana who is best known for his skills in rhyming in vernacular rap, Motswako. Motswako encompasses various elements from a variety of musical backgrounds. It involves street-talk and highly influential messages in Setswana, English and other South African languages, yet largely comprehended lingo. Khuli Chana also delivers his distinct flavour and sound when he switches his mic to hip hop which has carved him as one of South Africa’s hip hop elite!
Last but certainly not least, we have Dr Malinga rocking the stage and this artist needs no introduction. Dr. Malinga is famous for his great performances and unusual dance moves, which he calls “the linga dance”.
As if these top household names are not enough for you we’ve thrown in some dance performers, if the Vintage Dance Cru and the Tembisa Revolution don’t get you shaking your booty, then nothing will!
