Current Big Brother Mzansi 2015 housemate Blue also known as Thandi Mbombo has been dumped by her footballer boyfriend Onyekachi Okonkwo who plays for Mpumalanga Black Aces as a midfielder.
News coming in from reliable sources indicate that the Nigerian born player dumped his girlfriend currently his Ex Thandi “Blue” Mbombo. This after she had allegedly defied the former Orlando Pirates player to participate in the reality show.
A friend claimed: “She told Okonkwo she was going to be part of Big Brother Mzansi. He told her he didn’t have a problem with her being a model, but won’t have a relationship with someone who’ll take a shower in front of cameras. He also said he can’t be with a woman who’ll be flirting and kissing other guys. He gave Blue an ultimatum to choose between him or the reality show.
“And Blue chose the reality show, saying she wanted fame just like him who is a famous soccer star. I just pray that she stays in the house to win the R2 million with K2, thereafter she can buy her own house,”
The friend also said Blue, who is also an ambassador of Himeros Luxury Swimwear, claimed Okonkwo dumped her because she could not choose between her dream of participating in Big Brother Mzansi and him.
“I wonder where she’s going to stay after the show.”
A woman named Phumla, who handles Blue’s publicity, didn’t respond to our questions and blocked the reporter on Blue’s Twitter handle.
Okonkwo was unavailable for comment.
Club spokesman, Gordon Masondo, said: “We’re concern about the performance of the team. I don’t want to break Okonkwo’s life and I can’t give you his new numbers. The boy forms an integral part of the team and needs to be focused. Whoever is looking for Okonkwo’s number should go get them somewhere else.
