The reality TV stars, real names Ntombifuthi Tshabalala and Nkanyiso Khumalo, appeared at the Sophiatown Magistrate’s court on Wednesday and each got R1000 bail.

After their appearance the two were held behind bars waiting for “someone” to come rescue them with bail money. A gentleman who described himself as their “lawyer” was later seen withdrawing the money at a nearby ATM.

The Sunday World team spotted the two outside court as they dashed towards their red Kia, however they quickly headed in a different direction after spotting us.

Their “lawyer” had to reverse his Mercedes Benz close to them and we spotted him opening the boot for Ntombi and then the back door for Ace.

According to the police statement they received a tip-off that led to the arrest of the two suspects in possession of drugs in Clairemont, Sophiatown. 

“The K9 Unit was patrolling in the area when they received a tip from community member about  a motor vehicle whose occupants were suspected of being in possession of drugs,”  reads the statement from the police.

“The police followed up the information and spotted the car.  Two passengers were searched and found in the car in possession of ecstasy, dagga and dagga grinding machine. The value of the drugs is unknown.”

The case has been postponed until mid-March.
