It has been a tumultuous journey for Big Brother Mzansi 2014 contestant Lexi Van Niekerk. In a short space of time she managed to gain a huge fan base and unfortunately number of ‘haters’.
Since taking part in the reality show, the young Capetonian has gone through a series criticism from the fans calling her a gold digger.
Recently she has been attacked by a group of Ntombi’s fans accusing her of wanting to steal Ntombi’s Money that she won from the recently concluded Big Brother Mzansi Double Trouble.

Of recent, Lexi who is currently running the LocalMix campaign inspired by local DStv shows came out to ask the fans to try to understand her.
“People accuse me of trying to be like other female celebrities and some say I’m only with Mandla for the money.’
“The truth is I’m not trying to be anyone else and I’m not with Mandla for his money. I wish people would forget about Big brother and get to know me. That’s why I like being the Local mix ambassador as it will give me a chance to interact with fans directly,” she says.
