Big Brother Mzansi Season 6 Twist: Seven Former Housemates Battle for Redemption

With less than a week to go before the highly anticipated premiere of Big Brother Mzansi Season 6, Biggie has once again shaken things up with a dramatic twist that has fans buzzing. In a surprise move, seven former housemates have been given a second chance at glory, but only four will earn the right to enter the Big Brother Mzansi Season 6: Bazozwa house.

The selected former housemates Dube, Mmeli, Fahima, Sipha Lee, Bravo B, Lerato Modise, and Liema Pantsi will now compete for viewer votes. Fans will decide which four deserve redemption and a spot in the new season when it officially launches on 11 January 2026. The chosen housemates will then join the rest of the Season 6 journey, set to be unveiled during the live premiere.

Here’s what you need to know about the seven former housemates vying for a return to the Big Brother Mzansi house season 6:

Dube
Dube was initially meant to enter the Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 (Umlilo) house but failed to secure enough votes from Housemates during the premiere episode. His early exit left many viewers questioning why he never got a fair chance to play. Now, Biggie has reopened the door for him to finally prove himself.

Fahima
Fahima entered Big Brother Mzansi Season 4 (S’ya Mosha) as a disruptor alongside Neo and Taki. While Taki successfully earned an upgrade to full housemate status, Fahima and Neo were evicted on Day 21. Determined to prove that she is more than just a twist, Fahima returns with unfinished business and her sights firmly set on the win.

Sipha Lee
Known as the leader of the Bandana Boys alliance in Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 (Umlilo), Sipha Lee was evicted on Day 28. He now hopes to show fans that his gameplay extends beyond alliances and strategy, and that there is more depth to his personality and competitive spirit.

Lerato Modise
A housemate from Big Brother Mzansi Season 4, Lerato, popularly known as Mama Ghost due to her bond with Papa Ghost, met an unexpected end in the Fate Room. After spending 50 days in the house, she spun the Wheel of Fate and landed on “Evicted,” cutting short her journey just before the finale. This time, she hopes fate will be kinder.

Liema Pantsi
One of the fan favourites from Season 4, Liema’s journey also ended in the Fate Room. Faced with the choice between taking R250,000 and continuing to compete for the grand prize, she chose the money and exited the house. Now, she returns seeking redemption and another shot at the crown.

Bravo B
Bravo B’s Season 4 journey was cut short in Week 1 after he was disqualified for making offensive remarks. The incident had lasting consequences, costing him his job and bringing significant personal challenges. His return represents a chance at accountability, growth, and rebuilding his public image.

Mmeli
Mmeli previously appeared on Big Brother Titans: Ziyakhala Wahala, where he became the fifth housemate to be evicted. His time in the house was heavily influenced by the controversial pairing twist, which many fans believe limited his ability to fully showcase his personality and gameplay.
