Supreme HoH Tumi Restores Order in the Bazozwa House

Day 16 in the Big Brother Mzansi 2026 house saw Supreme HoH Tumi the Barber, step into full authority as he gathered the Bazozwa housemates to address growing concerns in the house.

As the reigning HoH, Tumi reminded housemates to strictly follow the rule book, starting with the immediate translation to English after speaking vernacular, a rule that has been repeatedly overlooked.

He also called out general carelessness in the house, saying:

I feel like a lot of us are careless. We don’t do the right things. Do the right thing so that we can reach the goal we all desire.

Tumi emphasised the importance of mutual respect, reminding housemates that respect is earned, not demanded.

If you want respect, give it. It’s not about you, it’s about the house.

He went on to caution housemates about other house rules, including no wearing of sunglasses indoors and avoiding the habit of leaving dirty dishes around.

Addressing the growing divisions in the house, Tumi issued a firm warning about cliques:

I’m going to mix up the groups because there are a lot of cliques.

The Supreme HoH also tackled the issue of housemates interfering in each other’s personal lives, a behavior he said fuels unnecessary tension.

Being in other people’s business causes tension in the house. Mind your business. If you want to do something, don’t force people into it. Everybody wants screen time, don’t use people for screen time.

Thandeka agreed, responding with a firm:

Yes, 100%.

Tumi further addressed alcohol consumption in the house, urging housemates to drink responsibly.

We get drunk too, but we don’t do stupid things. If you know you’re going to do stupid things when you’re drunk, take it down a notch.

The discussion took a heated turn when Thandeka directly confronted Didi, accusing her of repeatedly using alcohol as an excuse for bad behavior.

“Somebody needs to stop getting drunk and then use that as an excuse. I will call you out, and it’s you, Didi. Every single time, week after week. I even advised you to take care of yourself, what did you do?”

Didi defended herself, insisting:

“I was not drunk.”

Thandeka fired back:

“That’s your problem, and I’m telling you.”

Didi chose not to escalate the argument, responding calmly:

“I’m not even going to argue. I was not drunk.”
