As it’s the norm in Big Brother Mzansi, Fridays are usually for Arena Games sponsored by Lotto Star. Tonight wasn’t any different, Bazozwa housemates gathered in the Arena and Biggie put them to a Rainbow Mania. In this multiple level challenge, the aim was to test Housemates’ precision, patience and luck to the limit.
Lawredo buzzed out
The game featured multiple challenge levels, including stacking hats, tossing rings over a cone, finding lucky clovers, and finally, the most difficult task of all walking across a balance beam while balancing a coin on a cane. The balancing stage proved to be the ultimate deal-breaker, with the coin repeatedly falling off the cane, often before housemates could even step onto the beam. The infamous “stick thing” truly tested everyone’s patience.
As last week’s winner, The Don set the pace but failed to complete the balance beam challenge.
Dene Jones shocked viewers by hopping, skipping, and jumping straight to the finish line, disqualifying herself after completely skipping the balance beam.
Ramona was also disqualified when she held onto the coin instead of balancing it, breaking the rules.
One by one, housemates dropped out as the coin continued to betray them.
Against all odds, Didi remained focused and composed. She became the only housemate to successfully complete every stage of the Friday Night Games, earning herself the R10,000 cash prize courtesy of Lotto Star.
