Big Brother Mzansi Season 6: Day 07 Diary Sessions Recap
Day 7 in Biggie’s house came with a twist. Unlike previous diary sessions, Big Brother woke the housemates in the morning and summoned them one by one into the Diary Room. With the housemates still recovering from a long Saturday night possibly worsened by Chillers Punch at the party.
Here’s how each housemate reflected on their journey so far in the Diary session:
Tumi the Barber: Diary Session
Tumi the Barber says he isn’t stressing about eviction and believes he’ll deal with it when the time comes. He’s proud that he has showcased his talent and opened up in a positive way.
On Thandeka, he admitted that at first, they didn’t get along, describing her as the female version of himself. However, after speaking, he gained a better understanding of her.
On regrets, Tumi says he allowed people to get into his head, particularly regarding how often his name was linked to Buhle B. He revealed that he even suggested switching strategies just to stop the chatter. After a revelation the previous night, he told Buhle B that if they like each other, they shouldn’t care about public opinion.
“You can’t really have a game plan in this house.”
Didi Diary Session:
Didi feels confident and at peace about eviction, believing South Africa has only seen a fraction of who she truly is.
She says housemates describe her as smart and self-aware, someone who can acknowledge her own mistakes. However, she admits to distancing herself from certain people who made her week difficult.
She specifically mentions Thandeka, whom she feels is rude and disrespectful, and Kokii, saying she felt uncomfortable with how Kokii addressed her publicly and sensed that she wasn’t liked.
Didi says she has formed a strong friendship with Marshel, while her connection with Que has ended. She describes herself as respectful and plans to continue being true to herself.
King Wanda: Diary Session
King Wanda expressed concerns about Thandeka’s behaviour, saying she has bullying tendencies and a way of making people feel small, often acting as though only her voice matters.
Thandeka Diary Session:
Thandeka admits to feeling slightly nervous about eviction but remains calm, believing that whatever happens is fate.
She’s proud of giving situations time to settle, rebuilding broken connections, and making peace with Didi, Tumi, Que, and others. She highlighted strong bonds with Neliswa, Mmeli, King Wanda, and Mshefane.
She addressed the tension with King Wanda, stating that she was honest and clear in expressing herself and that any triggers were not her responsibility.
Thandeka says she has no regrets, remained true to herself, and accepts that not everyone will like her. If she stays, she has no plans to change.
The Don Diary Session:
The Don says he feels neutral, not nervous, not excited, just balanced.
He’s proud of winning R10,000 and says he’s connected with many housemates, especially Neliswa. He has no regrets and says his strategy was simply to be himself.
Liema Diary Session:
Liema admits she’s nervous because nothing is guaranteed, but she remains optimistic and hopeful.
She’s most proud of her creative expression and pushing herself artistically, even though time constraints limited her full vision. She has no regrets and feels she’s been open and authentic.
Liema says she doesn’t connect with everyone, openly admitting that Ofentse irritates her and that she’s only being cordial with Thandeka, whose jokes she finds annoying.
She’s unapologetic and says she’s ready to be honest about who she doesn’t like.
Ashay Diary Session:
Ashay says he feels calm about eviction.
He’s proud of how well he gets along with others and has no regrets, as he stayed true to himself. He connected most with King Wanda, noting that they come from the same town and understand each other well.
Buhle B Diary Session:
Buhle B feels confident she won’t be evicted, though she admits to some anxiety.
She’s proud of being there for Cia and maintaining composure under pressure. If evicted, she would have no regrets as her actions were intentional.
Moving forward, she wants to prioritise herself more, speak up, and stop carrying the emotional burdens of others.
Mmeli Diary Session:
Mmeli says he feels calm but admits uncertainty about his emotions.
He revealed that unlike his previous season, he has been holding back because many housemates have strong personalities. He has no regrets and remains confident that he won’t be evicted.
While he prefers having fun, observing how competitive others are has motivated him to take games more seriously, without losing his playful nature.
Ramona Diary Session:
Ramona feels confident she won’t be evicted and believes both housemates and viewers now see her value.
She’s proud of the connections formed in the house, though she questions how genuine some are. Her only regret would be trusting people more than she usually does.
If she stays, she plans to speak less, listen more, and observe carefully.
Kokii Diary Session:
Kokii admits she feels nervous but is at peace with whatever outcome.
She’s proud of expressing herself through fashion and feels comfortable being herself in the house. She has no major regrets, except excessive swearing.
If she stays, she plans to swear less, be more patient, manage her time better, and respect Big Brother’s rules.
Bravo B Diary Session:
Bravo B says evictions make him nervous due to their unpredictability.
He’s proud to be back in the house and sees this as a fresh start. He has no regrets and feels more open and emotionally free than before.
He admits spending most of his time with Trixie, saying their playful “Baba and Mama” dynamic is becoming serious. While he likes her and finds her beautiful, he believes it’s too early for a relationship.
He wants to be honest with her and set boundaries, especially since he feels uncomfortable with her doing things like making bread for him.
