Buhle B gives an emotionally broken Cia a shoulder

Cia Breaks Down as Buhle B Offers Sisterly Support

Spending 72 days locked inside the Big Brother Mzansi house with complete strangers is no easy feat, and housemates Cia and Buhle B  can explain the experience of the journey.

One of the 23 housemates of Big Brother Mzansi season 6 (Bazozwa), Cia broke down in tears as she opened up about feeling overwhelmed and emotionally drained inside the house. In a moment of raw vulnerability, she admitted that she feels like she is drowning in the pressure of the game and the expectations placed on her.

Cia confessed to Buhle B that she struggles to hold conversations with some housemates and often feels misunderstood.

“I can’t hold conversations with people, even Thandeka. I don’t even know exactly what she said to me, and then she was like, ‘That’s all you can do when you answer, you just say anything,’” Cia said before breaking down in tears.

Clearly moved, Buhle B immediately stepped in with compassion.

“Can I hug you right now? Will it make you feel better?” she gently asked.

As Cia cried, Buhle B reassured her with words of encouragement, reminding her that she belongs in the house just as much as everyone else.

“It took me a long time to get where I am. I also realized that you don’t have to open up just because people want you to, or at the speed they expect you to. You’re not the same as everyone else, and that’s okay. I don’t want you to feel like you’re not supposed to be here. You’re here for a reason, and everyone deserves that R2 million. Everyone deserves to make it to the finale,” Buhle B said.

Through tears, Cia admitted what many housemates could relate to.

“Honestly, if there’s one thing they’re right about, it’s that I’m scared and nervous,” she said, adding that she often feels intimidated in unfamiliar situations.

Buhle B responded by normalizing those emotions, reminding Cia that fear is natural when stepping into something new.

She reflected on her own audition experience, sharing a powerful lesson she received during a one-on-one professional session.

“I once told a professional that I didn’t know why I’d made it this far because I didn’t think there was anything special about me. And she told me, ‘That’s what you don’t realize.’ Big Brother Mzansi isn’t about having 23 people who are the same. They deliberately choose different personalities. That’s the strategy.”

In a house full of strangers, moments like these remind viewers that sisterhood, empathy, and emotional support can be just as powerful as strategy.
