Jojo and Beekay go bare knuckle during the second part of Big Brother Mzansi Reunion.
Another standout moment from Big Brother Mzansi Reunion Part Two came from a fiery exchange between Jojo and Beekay, as the two revisited unresolved tensions from Big Brother Mzansi Season 5 (Umlilo). What began as a simple character description quickly escalated into a blunt and emotionally charged confrontation.
The debate was sparked when host Smash Afrika described Beekay as one of the most reserved housemates in the house. Jojo strongly disagreed with this assessment, countering by labelling Beekay as “very fake.” Her comment immediately reignited earlier accusations made in the house, where Beekay had been criticised for being overly submissive particularly in his interactions with Nate and was often viewed as someone who struggled to fight being controlled.
Jojo elaborated on her position, stating that Beekay displayed different personalities depending on the situation. According to her, one-on-one conversations with him were pleasant and engaging, and she had often spoken positively about him in the past. However, she claimed that his behaviour would abruptly change, especially during critical moments in the game.
She cited an incident during nominations when Beekay accused her of being an instigator, an accusation she firmly rejected. Jojo argued that there is a clear difference between being inquisitive and being an instigator, insisting that she merely asked questions about house dynamics. For her, Beekay’s shift in attitude during nominations revealed inconsistency, which she interpreted as fakeness.

Beekay, visibly uncomfortable with Jojo’s claims, challenged her to explain whether having different sides to one’s personality automatically makes someone fake. Jojo’s response did little to clarify her stance, instead pointing out that Beekay spent more time with Nate than with other housemates. She argued that it takes extended interaction to truly understand someone’s character, not just isolated conversations.
Nate quickly weighed in, questioning Jojo’s conclusion and asking whether she had taken enough time to determine Beekay’s alleged fakeness. Beekay echoed this sentiment, stating that Jojo’s explanation did not justify labelling him fake.

The exchange took a sharp turn when Beekay suggested that Jojo’s choice of words or diction might be contributing to the misunderstanding. Jojo responded defensively, sarcastically apologising for her bad English and remarking that she did not attend a private school.

Refusing to back down, Beekay defended himself by defining fakeness as saying one thing and doing another, insisting that he had been consistent throughout his time in the house. Jojo fired back, accusing him of doing exactly that. When Beekay asked her to explain how, Jojo abruptly shut the conversation down, saying she could not keep repeating herself. “I’m sorry i can’t keep repeating myself, I’m not thunder, ” Jojo said
