In the clip, Liema appeared to question the dynamics of their relationship, suggesting that tensions would arise if a partner went on an international trip without the other. The video quickly sparked heated debate online, with some fans defending Liema’s comments while others criticised her for disrespecting Zee and her relationship.

Reacting to this during the reunion, Liema openly admitted that she was wrong. She explained that the situation deeply affected her, especially because she and Zee were in the process of establishing a friendship outside the house, alongside Sinaye. According to Liema, the release of the video made her realise that she had lost a valuable friendship, something she deeply regretted.

She confessed that she was intoxicated at the time and speaking carelessly when a friend prompted her with questions about Big Brother Mzansi. While acknowledging the context, Liema was clear that she was not trying to justify her actions, admitting that she had spoken irresponsibly about Zee and Sinaye’s relationship.

Taking full accountability, Liema directly apologised to Zee, expressing sincere remorse for the hurt caused by her words.

Zee’s in response confirmed that she genuinely forgave Liema, explaining that she is naturally forgiving and does not hold on to resentment. Her acceptance of the apology marked a moment of healing and closure between the two.
