Big Brother Mzansi Reunion Uncovers a Surprise: McJunior and Liema Pantsi’s Untold Story
The Big Brother Mzansi Reunion continues to deliver unexpected revelations, and one of the most surprising moments of the night was the disclosure of a previously unknown relationship between McJunior, the winner of Big Brother Mzansi Season 4, and fellow housemate Liema Pantsi.
In a lighthearted moment, host Smash Afrika jokingly asked McJunior whether the prize money he won was still safely kept in the bank. McJunior candidly responded that it was all gone, drawing laughter from the fellow ex housemates. The mood then shifted when Smash turned attention to the bouquet of flowers Liema was holding and asked McJunior to explain the meaning behind the gesture.
McJunior revealed that the flowers was an attempt to mend a relationship that had been strained by events over the past year. He described them as an apology, acknowledging that certain actions had caused tension between them.

When asked whether she had accepted the apology, Liema responded with dry humour, saying she was holding the flowers and therefore had little choice. Pressed further on what the apology was for, Liema explained that she and McJunior had attempted to pursue a relationship outside the Big Brother house, but it ultimately did not work. In her view, the flowers were an apology for how that situation unfolded.
“Well, me and McJunior tried to have a relationship outside the house but it never worked, I think it’s an apology for that” Liema said.
McJunior, however, offered a slightly different perspective. He clarified that the apology was less about the failed relationship and more about his behaviour toward Liema as a friend. He admitted that he had not always been respectful and felt he should have been more considerate, gentle, and mature in how he treated her.
“I feel I wasn’t respectful even as a friend to her. I wasn’t respectful as I wasn’t supposed to be all the time. I feel I should have been respectful and more gentle and a better man.”
The revelation also revisited moments from the house that fans may remember. McJunior had previously shown interest in Fahima, a fake housemate, and was visibly disappointed when she exited the game. It was after this that he grew closer to Liema, albeit as a friend, at a time when she was involved with Jareed.
However, on the same episode tonight, Fahima revealed that she’s now officially engaged (Flaunting the engagement ring) and that her man bought her a new Mercedes Benz.
