Day 64: BBMzansi 2025 Grand Prize Restored to R2 Million

The BBMzansi 2025 grand prize has officially been reinstated to its original R2 million after dramatic twists in Season 5, thrilling housemates and fans alike.

Initially set at R2 million, the grand prize was reduced due to housemates’ spending in the Boiler Room, a zone where housemates could purchase perks using funds from the prize pool.

During a recent session, Big Brother revealed a Boiler room clip explaining the expenses—like R50,000 personalized messages from loved ones and a R250,000 finale ticket bought by Melino—drained the prize. Melino’s ticket, which required him to survive eviction, was later invalidated after his elimination on Sunday and he later returned it during the Live eviction show.

Housemates also participated in challenges to recover the prize, including moving 100,000-steps task to retrieve funds. Uyanda, in his diary session today, expressed frustration over housemates who avoided spending but benefited from others’ efforts to restore the prize.

Big Brother confirmed the BBMzansi 2025 grand prize is now fully restored to R2 million.
