If there’s one thing the Bazozwa housemates have truly perfected, it’s delivering outstanding wager task presentations. Following their success in previous weeks, the week 7 wager task presentation was yet another triumph.
This week, housemates were challenged to create both a face mask and an art piece that symbolised the gap between words and actions over their seven-week journey in the house. The task required deep reflection on their experiences, the good, the bad, and the ugly, with the aim of identifying the core changes needed to become their best selves.
The verdict for the night’s presentation and performances was based on the following criteria:
- Authenticity and growth: assessing how honestly each housemate reflected on their original artwork and the true self behind the mask.
- Artistic reflection: judging the execution of the four-sectioned mask representing the good, the bad, the BBMzansi persona, and the real self.
- Observational skills: evaluating the ability to accurately and humorously portray the daily life of a fellow housemate through skits.
Each housemate was given three minutes to present their original artwork and decorated mask, followed by one minute to perform their individual skit.
Overall, the housemates delivered a commendable and impressive performance.
A moment of celebration quickly turned into a sobering reality check in Biggie’s house today. Although the housemates secured a 100% win on their wager, their excitement was cut short when Biggie deducted 50% due to what he described as unruly behaviour. The decision prompted an immediate and necessary house meeting, where housemates confronted their bad habits and reflected on how their actions may have contributed to the penalty.
