More Drama continues to build in Big Brother Mzansi 2026, Mmeli and Thandeka have once again attempted to resolve their ongoing latest tensions.
The two housemates have been entangled in a complicated situationship since the start of Big Brother Mzansi Season 6. Like many couples confined in a competitive space filled with strong personalities, misunderstandings and emotional flare-ups have become part of their journey.
Pool Party Fallout Sparks Tension
Their latest fallout traces back to the aftermath of the pool party, where Thandeka and Liema were involved in a heated altercation. During the confrontation, Mmeli tried to calm Thandeka down, urging her to sit and disengage from the exchange. However, emotions were running high, and she refused to back down.
The HoH Conversation
Today, the two met in the HoH lounge to finally clear the air.
Mmeli asked Thandeka to explain how everything unfolded that night.
She told him she was unhappy with how he handled the situation between her and Liema, explaining that when he tried to intervene, she felt physically restrained at a moment when emotions were already running high. Thandeka recalled asking him to wait, insisting the conflict did not involve him, but said the encounter became overwhelming and left her shaken. Although she understood that he was attempting to separate the argument and restore order, she admitted that the experience was shocking because she had never been handled that way before.
In reply Mmeli admitted that being put on the spot hurt him deeply, saying:
“If you put me in the corner, I will move, who do you think you are putting me in the corner? Being out on the spot like that hurts more than anything.”
Mmeli explained that when tensions rise, he prefers to remove himself from the situation rather than escalate things. He emphasized that stepping away is simply how he handles conflict.
He also apologized for holding Thandeka in what he described as a “comfortable way” while she was in the middle of a heated argument.
After clearing the air, Thandeka and Mmeli appear to have moved past their conflict and are back on good terms, looking noticeably close and affectionate once again.
